Overview
Victoria Friedrich serves as counsel in the firm's Trusts & Estates practice, where she advises individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on a broad range of estate planning, trust administration, and estate administration matters in both New Jersey and New York.
Victoria works closely with clients to design and implement comprehensive estate plans, tailored to their unique goals, family dynamics, and financial circumstances. Her practice includes the preparation of Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and other estate planning documents. She also counsels clients on wealth preservation strategies, tax-efficient wealth transfer, asset protection planning, business succession planning, special needs planning, and Medicaid and long-term care planning.
In addition to estate planning, Victoria regularly guides executors, trustees, and beneficiaries through the probate, estate administration, and trust administration processes. She has experience helping clients navigate complex legal, financial, and family issues that often arise following the death or incapacity of a loved one. Known for her thoughtful and compassionate approach, Victoria provides practical solutions that help clients move forward with confidence during challenging times.
Victoria is committed to building long-term relationships with her clients and takes pride in making sophisticated estate planning concepts understandable and accessible. She understands that effective estate planning is about more than documents—it is about protecting loved ones, preserving family legacies, minimizing conflict, and ensuring that clients' wishes are carried out.
A frequent author on trusts and estates topics, Victoria contributes articles addressing developments in state and federal law, estate planning strategies, fiduciary responsibilities, and emerging issues affecting individuals and families. She is dedicated to keeping clients informed about legislative changes and providing practical guidance in an evolving legal landscape. Victoria also serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Wellness and Sustainability Initiative, reflecting a commitment to holistic client service and workplace well-being.
Victoria received her B.S. from Rutgers University and earned her J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law, during which time she also acted as a Dean Scholar for the Real Property section and interned at the Bergen County Surrogate’s Court.
