Overview
Chelsea Nkrumah is an associate in the firm’s Criminal Defense and Litigation practice groups.
Prior to joining Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., Chelsea practiced as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable J. Brendan Day of the United States District Court, District of New Jersey and for The Honorable Maritza Berdote Byrne, in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. She was also a legal fellow for the Michael J. Sullivan Defender Program at Rutgers Law School and Panasonic Corporation of North America. Prior to that, she was a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division and at the Office of the Attorney General, Division of Criminal Justice.
Chelsea earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she was a member of the National Mock Trial Competition Team. She also was a 3L Career Advisor, Vice President of Academic Affairs for the Association of Black Law Students and Co-Chair of the Women’s Law Forum. She received her B.A. from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
