Dillon J. McGuire, partner in the firm’s Criminal Defense practice, was interviewed by NBC News 4 New York in a segment titled, “NJ Politicians Accused of Voter Fraud Still Waiting for Day in Court”. McGuire is representing Paterson Councilman Michael Jackson, alongside Raymond M. Brown, in a voter fraud matter. Mr. Jackson’s defense team succeeded on a motion for reconsideration, and the court found that the Attorney General’s search warrant for the client’s cell phone was overly broad and must be reissued. Criminal Defense associate Chelsea Nkrumah is also assisting with the case.

“It brings up the adage ‘justice delayed is justice denied.’ Now there’s been some procedural irregularities in this case that have required some level of extension of the timeline, but you know, ultimately were looking to get in front of a jury as soon as possible,” said McGuire.
