Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is proud to announce that for the 22nd year, Chambers and Partners ranked the firm in Litigation: White Collar Crime and Governmental Investigations in New Jersey. The practices are ranked in Band 2.  In addition, four attorneys in the practice group are ranked:

“It is immensely gratifying that our White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations practice has once again been recognized by the Chambers USA Guide,” said co-chairs Hayden (Band 1) and O’Connor (Band 2). “Our practices’ well-earned reputation for professional excellence throughout the region is reflected in the long-running Chambers rankings of the practice and our attorneys. We take great pride in our team’s commitment to vigorously conducting investigations, as well as defending our client’s interests, including implementing strategies to avoid criminal charges from being brought.”

The firm’s Criminal Defense practice represents individuals and corporate clients who have become subject to criminal and quasi-criminal investigations, representing clients in federal courts throughout the United States and in state, municipal and juvenile courts in New Jersey and New York.

The firm’s attorneys represent clients charged with felonies, indictable offenses, misdemeanors, and disorderly persons’ offenses. Often most importantly, they provide effective representation before charges are filed, responding to grand jury subpoenas, search warrants, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other administrative inquiries. They have successfully persuaded federal and state prosecutors not to charge clients who have received grand jury subpoenas or who have been called in for interviews. They have obtained conditional discharges and pretrial intervention diversionary programs for our clients.

Due to the significant prosecutorial and judicial experience of the firm’s lawyers, the firm is frequently called upon by public entities, private organizations, and corporations to conduct internal investigations and reviews regarding a wide range of topics, including federal and state regulatory compliance, financial fraud, political corruption, Foreign Claims Act issues, embezzlement, employee harassment, and sexual misconduct. These investigations, whether necessitated by a whistleblower, governmental inquiries, accounting irregularities, or undertaken as a proactive investigation, have been conducted by the firm in a wide variety of industries, including banking, education, law, health care, municipalities, retail, information technology, and more.

Pashman Stein is a full-service law firm of over 85 attorneys with offices in New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
