We are proud to announce that Jhanice V. Domingo, chair of the Family Law practice group at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., has been selected to serve on Monmouth County Bar Association’s Diversity Committee. A strong advocate for diversity in the legal profession, Jhanice is a past president of both the National Filipino American Lawyers Association and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ). She chaired APALA-NJ’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC) for over a decade, working closely with state leadership to support the appointment of qualified minority candidates to the judiciary. Jhanice also previously served as co-chair of the Bergen County Bar Association’s Diversity Committee and is a member of the firm's Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging Committee.
With more than two decades of experience, Jhanice is a respected and accomplished family law attorney whose statewide practice includes high-conflict matrimonial matters, complex financial litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Her clients include physicians, attorneys, business executives, and entrepreneurs – as well as their spouses – navigating the full spectrum of family law issues. A former Assistant Prosecutor in Somerset County, Jhanice also brings extensive courtroom experience to her private practice. Jhanice is a litigator as well as a trained and court-approved family law mediator serving both as an Early Settlement Panelist and Economic Mediator in multiple New Jersey counties.
In addition to Jhanice's involvement with the Monmouth County Bar Association, Jhanice is a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA) and is serving her fifth year as co-chair of BCBA's Family law Committee. Jhanice is also an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee, the New jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee, and several subcommittees focused on non-dissolution matters and domestic violence.
