We are proud to announce that Jhanice V. Domingo, chair of the Family Law Practice Group at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., has been reappointed as co-chair of the Family Law Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association (BCBA) — a position she has held for four consecutive years. Jhanice also currently serves as a Trustee of the BCBA and is a former co-chair of its Diversity Committee.

With more than two decades of experience, Jhanice is a respected and accomplished family law attorney whose statewide practice includes high-conflict matrimonial matters, complex financial litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. Her clients include physicians, attorneys, business executives, and entrepreneurs – as well as their spouses – navigating the full spectrum of family law issues. A former Assistant Prosecutor in Somerset County, Jhanice also brings extensive courtroom experience to her private practice.

Jhanice is a trained and court-approved family law mediator and serves as both an Early Settlement Panelist and Economic Mediator in multiple New Jersey counties. In addition to her leadership within the BCBA, Jhanice is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Executive Committee, the New jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee, and several subcommittees focused on non-dissolution matters and domestic violence.

Jhanice also serves on the Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee (JPAC) of the New Jersey State Bar Association, where she participates in confidential evaluations of judicial and prosecutorial candidates and advises the Governor on nominations.

A strong advocate for diversity in the legal profession, Jhanice is a Past President of both the National Filipino American Lawyers Association and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey (APALA-NJ). She chaired APALA-NJ’s JPAC for over a decade, working closely with state leadership to support the appointment of qualified minority candidates to the judiciary. She also serves on the Board of Trustees of Legal Services of New Jersey.
