Raymond M. Brown, Partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., was recently quoted in The Hill article, “Judge Scolds DOJ in Dismissing ICE Facility Trespassing Charge Against Newark Mayor.” During a hearing on Wednesday, May 21, a federal judge dismissed a trespassing charge against Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, which arose from his visit to Delaney Hall, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility located in Newark, earlier this month alongside three Democratic members of Congress. The judge dismissed the complaint against Baraka with prejudice, so that the charge cannot be brought again.

I think it’s clear that the mayor is not guilty of the offenses with which he was charged,” said Raymond Brown, Barak’s lawyer.
