Pashman Stein is pleased to welcome Valerie Jules McCarthy to its Family Law practice.

Ms. McCarthy’s practice focuses in the family law area. She handles a variety of family matters involving marital dissolutions, spousal support, equitable distribution of property, civil union dissolutions, post-marital disputes, child custody, child support, domestic violence issues and guardianships.

Prior to joining Pashman Stein, Ms. McCarthy was a family law associate at Kozyra & Hartz, LLC. After law school, Ms. McCarthy served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kenneth J. Grispin, P.J., Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division, Union County.

Ms. McCarthy earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2008. She earned a B.A. from Lehigh University in 2004. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Ms. McCarthy is a member of the Barry Croland Family Law Inn of Court, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, the Haitian American Lawyers Association and the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce.
