Hackensack, NJ (November 29, 2022) - Pashman Stein Walder Hayden is pleased to announce that Richard C. Solow has joined the firm as an Associate in the Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights practice.  Prior to joining Pashman Stein, Solow was an associate at AmLaw 200 firms. The Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights practice group at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden advises clients across the country in complex financial restructuring and bankruptcy related transactions and litigation matters. Solow follows the addition of partner Joseph C. Barsalona II, who joined the firm’s Delaware office in June to work with practice chair John W. Weiss, who launched the practice group in March of this year.

“We are thrilled to have Rich join our group at Pashman Stein,” said Weiss, chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights practice. “Rich brings further broad and sophisticated experience to our group, including an LL.M. degree in Bankruptcy Law, service as a law clerk and intern for three United States Bankruptcy Judges in three jurisdictions, and more than seven years of experience as a corporate, bankruptcy and financial restructuring associate with prominent AmLaw 200 law firms. This expansion of our practice group aligns with our strategy to provide clients with high caliber representation and innovative solutions to complex issues, in a more cost-effective manner.

Solow regularly advises clients in bankruptcy litigations, transactional and distressed finance matters, and debtor and creditors' rights. He represents corporate debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, indenture and securitization trustees, lessors and other parties in domestic and international corporate restructurings, liquidations, and distressed financings and acquisitions.

Solow earned his LL.M. in Bankruptcy Law and J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Binghamton University. He served for two years as a law clerk to the Hon. Peter H. Carroll, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California. Solow also served as a judicial intern to the Hon. Carla Craig, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York and as a judicial intern to the Hon. Cecelia Morris, U.S. Bankruptcy, Southern District of New York.
