Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. announces an expansion of its Family Law practice with the addition of Amanda J. Massey, who joined the firm as an associate on September 20, 2021. She is based in the firm’s Bell Works office in Holmdel, New Jersey.

“Our family law practice appreciates the difficult legal, financial, and emotional dynamics that accompany the dissolution of a client’s marriage, and often the family’s business. We approach this work with civility, respect, and sensitivity. We welcome Amanda to our group here at Bell Works and to Pashman Stein. She has a keen understanding of family law issues and is similarly dedicated to the high level of service we provide,” said Tracy Julian, Chair of the Family Law practice at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden.

“I am thrilled to join Tracy Julian and the team in Pashman Stein’s Family Law practice as well as contribute to the firm’s growth in Central Jersey. As a third generation Monmouth County resident who continues to reside here, I appreciate the value of the Pashman Stein name to clients who call this area home,” Massey said. “Bell Works is an exciting office location, and I look forward to working with clients and my new colleagues here in Monmouth County and the surrounding counties.”

Julian added, “Amanda’s experience as a judicial law clerk working on family law matters in Monmouth County provides her with valuable insight in navigating the courts and negotiating on behalf of her clients.”

Amanda J. Massey (néMuhaw) has devoted the entirety of her practice to family law matters, including the marriage dissolution, child custody and parenting time, establishing or modification of child support and/or spousal support, equitable distribution, and domestic violence.

Upon graduation from law school, Massey served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable James J. McGann, J.S.C., in the Chancery Division, Family Part, Monmouth County. Half-way through Massey’s clerkship, Judge McGann was re-assigned, moving from the Special Civil Division to the Family Division where His Honor presided over cases on both the Post-Judgment Matrimonial Docket and the Juvenile Docket. During her clerkship, she had the honor of assisting the Honorable Lisa P. Thornton, P.J.F.P. and the Honorable Kathleen A. Sheedy, J.S.C. on various matrimonial matters in addition to the work she performed for Judge McGann. She also served as a Court Mediator for the Special Civil Division during Judge McGann’s assignment.

Massey was included in the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star list in 2021. She earned her J.D. from Widener University and her B.S., cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, and is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
