Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. Welcomes Litigation Associate Angela E. Juneau
Hackensack, NJ (August 6, 2025) - Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is pleased to announce that Angela E. Juneau has joined as an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice where she will focus her practice on complex business litigation and appellate matters. She brings more than a decade of federal and state government experience, including as an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of New Jersey, a Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, and an Assistant Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey.
Immediately before joining Pashman Stein, Juneau served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey for almost five years. During her tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she represented the federal government in a wide variety of matters such as providing pre-litigation counseling to federal agencies, litigating civil matters in District Court, negotiating settlements, and successfully briefing and arguing matters before the Third Circuit. She was a recipient of the 2023 Award for Superior Performance as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Civil.
Juneau previously served as a Deputy Attorney General at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General for three years, defending the State of New Jersey in challenges to agency decisions in the Office of Administrative Law, Law Division, Appellate Division, and District Court, as well as counseling New Jersey’s Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Environmental Protection.
As Assistant Counsel to Governor Phil Murphy, Juneau advised the Governor on potential appointees to the judiciary, agencies, boards, commissions, and authorities.
Juneau also served as a law clerk for three separate judges: the Hon. Lois H. Goodman in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey; the Hon. Allison E. Accurso in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division; and the Hon. Kevin T. Smith in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division.
“Angela's significant background in complex state and federal court litigation, including appellate matters, is a great match for our litigation group and vice versa,” said Brendan M. Walsh, co-chair of the firm’s Litigation practice. “Shaped by her work in both the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Angela's strategic mindset and trial expertise align with our firm's reputation for handing high-stakes commercial litigation, government investigations, and regulatory matters. And as she moves from public service to private practice, we look forward to her insight into matters that our Justice Gary S. Stein Public Interest Center is litigating.”
Juneau earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School, where she served as Lead Notes & Case Notes Editor for the Rutgers Law Journal. She received her M.A. from The City College of New York and her B.A. from Belmont Abbey College. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is an active member of the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey.
