After being selected for inclusion in the list of “Lifetime Achievement” Award winners by the New Jersey Law Journal as part of its 2024 New Jersey Legal Awards, Justin P. Walder, partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense, Investigations, and Ethics practices, was featured in a Q&A with the New Jersey Law Journal.

In response to the questions about a career in law, Walder noted:

A satisfying career in law goes beyond merely the practice of law.  It is a profession that requires commitment and integrity in addition to the hours you bill and cases you work on. I have always believed that in practicing law, attorneys have an overarching responsibility to maintain professionalism and civility in all interactions. Not only with your clients and colleagues, but with those on the other side of the case as well.  In addition to effectively representing your client, a satisfying career in law can be achieved by giving back to the profession and the community, whether through pro bono matters, mentoring, teaching, or volunteering your time to assist others.
