Hon. Edwin H. Stern, P.J.A.D. (Ret.), special counsel in the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Appellate Advocacy practices at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., was recently interviewed by Robert Margulies, an attorney well known for the development of alternative dispute resolution programs and protocol, as part of the Hudson County Bar Association’s Legal History of Hudson County. The 58-minute interview begins as a technical discussion then opens into an engaging look at the evolution of New Jersey’s criminal justice system and Judge Stern‘s time as first assistant, prosecutor and acting prosecutor of Hudson County and as a judge sitting there years later.
