Donald W. Clarke Highlighted in Law360 on His Move to Pashman Stein’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights Practice
Donald W. Clarke, partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights practice, was recently featured in a Law360 article titled, “Pashman Stein Adds Genova Burns Bankruptcy Partner In NJ.” The article discusses his recent move to Pashman Stein, where he brings extensive experience helping debtors-in-possession manage and control their assets and minimize liabilities and helping investors in acquiring assets through financial transactions. In addition to debtors, he also represents official and ad hoc creditor committees, lenders, creditors, and trustees and other fiduciaries overseeing the reorganization, liquidation and administration of bankruptcy estates.
"Don will play a significant role in bolstering our team, particularly our growing New Jersey bankruptcy practice," said John W. Weiss, chair of Pashman Stein's Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors' Rights practice, in a statement. "He is well known in the New Jersey insolvency community, and brings longstanding relationships, practical experience, and a strong understanding of the legal and business landscape, particularly in New Jersey."
"I'm grateful for what I've learned and experienced with my former colleagues, but at the same time, I'm enthusiastic about this next chapter and the opportunity to join this really respected and growing platform," Clarke said.
Clarke said he appreciated the strength and sophistication of Pashman Stein's bankruptcy and litigation teams and said the firm's reputation for close collaboration has been borne out so far in his experience.
"When I came in and started meeting with people, it really became clear that this was the right fit for the next stage of my practice," Clarke said.
