Aidan O’Connor, Co-Chair of the Criminal Defense and Governmental and Internal Investigations practice at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, was quoted in NorthJersey.com article, “County jails move to vaccinate inmates and ICE detainees, but shortages persist.” The article discusses how county jails in North Jersey are off to a slow start inoculating thousands of inmates and immigration detainees, and notes that some have been critical of the effort to immunize prisoners while the state struggles to get enough shots for the elderly and other groups.

"The state has an obligation to protect people who it incarcerates or detains to make sure they are not put in the worst position or sentenced to a life sentence or death sentence merely because they are sitting inside a county jail,' said Aidan O'Connor, the president-elect of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.
