This webinar will describe the types and trends of common fraudulent business schemes in the health care space as well as touch on Medicare and Medicaid fraud that are typically committed through these business arrangements. The speakers will provide recommendations on red flags to look out for and other detection methods and recommendations for health care providers and patients to protect themselves against fraud and avoid entering into such arrangements. The speakers will also discuss potential regulatory issues, administrative and civil issues, as well as potential criminal consequences that health care providers can face in these situations. The panel will also provide guidance as to how the arrangements can be set up correctly to limit administrative, civil and criminal liability.
