Planning can be overwhelming, especially when your family includes an individual with special needs. This seminar will provide legal and practical information about how to proactively plan for children with special needs (including adult children with special needs). An experienced Trusts and Estates and Elder Law attorney, who focuses her practice on addressing the specific needs of aging individuals, people with disabilities, and their families, will discuss the following topics:

-Estate Planning Basics;
-Estate Planning Considerations for Parents of Individuals with Disabilities;
-Common Mistakes in Estate Planning for Individuals with Disabilities; and
-Guardianship Procedure.
