Dominique Kilmartin to be Panel Speaker on CoreCivic v. Murphy Webinar Discussion

Dominique Kilmartin, Associate at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., will be a speaker on an upcoming online webinar titled “CoreCivic v. Murphy: NJ Groups Join Legal Fight Defending State Law Prohibiting Immigration Detention Agreements with ICE” to discuss the proposed amicus brief Pashman Stein recently filed on behalf of Pax Christi USA in the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  Other speakers include attorneys Julia Bradley and Molly Linhorst, co-authors of ACLU-NJ’s amicus brief, and Yanet Candelario, co-founder of The Mami Chelo foundation who was detained at CoreCivic’s Elizabeth Detention Center for over 13 months.­ This event is scheduled as a part of IJN's national week of action for the New Way Forward Act, and will take place online at Noon on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
