Deanna Koestel, chair of the Construction Law practice group at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., co-hosted a Sustainability Lunch titled, “Accelerating Sustainability in Law: Practical ESG Strategies for Firms and Clients” at Interlaw’s 2025 Joint Meeting of Asia Pacific & EMEA held in Dubai, UAE. The lunch included a thought-provoking discussion about innovative ways for companies to accelerate sustainability initiatives with Rory MacFadyen and Peter Philippou, co-founders of sustainable sportswear company Reflo and included insights about law firm initiatives from Sara Bailey, from Trowers & Hamlins LLP; Soh Zhen Ning, from Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill, and Sonya Roseberg from Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg.

Koestel was recently appointed as the Global chair of Interlaw’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Community group and also serves as North America chair of Interlaw’s Women of Interlaw Network and as a member of the Interlaw Cares committee.
