Raymond M. Brown, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, was featured in the Law360 Pulse article, “Pashman Stein’s Raymond Brown on Career, NJ Bar Honor.”  The article discusses Brown being named the recipient, together with Justice Jaynee LaVecchia (Ret.), of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation’s 2022 Medal of Honor, the Foundation’s most prestigious award. Raymond Brown and Justice LaVecchia will receive the award on September 20, 2022, at the Park Chateau in East Brunswick.

I have known Raymond M. Brown for many years, and he has always been a superb litigator and a lawyer's lawyer," Joseph A. Hayden Jr., who co-chairs the criminal defense and investigations practices at Pashman Stein, said in a statement.

The article includes a Q&A with Brown, including asking Brown what the award means to him:

To be honored by your peers is significant. These are the folks who deal with the same issues, broadly speaking, that you do. Challenging judges, difficult witnesses, clients that don't always listen to you, and the need to be engaged in your community and your family as much as your craft. So to have those folks recognize you is highly significant. Who understands you better? Perhaps your family does, but I don't know of any families that give out awards.
