Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C.’s Firmwide Sabbatical Program Profiled in the New Jersey Law Journal
Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is thrilled to share that the New Jersey Law Journal has profiled its newly launched firmwide Sabbatical Program—an initiative more than a decade in the making and one that aligns with the firm’s culture and commitment to work-life balance.
As highlighted in the article, the Sabbatical Program offers full time employees—attorneys and support staff alike—the opportunity to take a fully paid, six‑week sabbatical every five years, complete with full benefits and billable‑hour credit.
As firm Chair and Managing Partner Michael S. Stein explained:
“If you allow your employees to recharge by giving this kind of extended time off every five years, I believe their mental health will be stronger, their productivity will be better and the rate of burnout will be lower…When you think about the cost of this, that’s a substantial cost. But that’s a cost that we weighed against the benefits and made a decision - that it’s a no-brainer that the benefits outweigh the costs.”
