Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is pleased to welcome 2020 Summer Associates Adam Flannery and Thomas Rowland and Summer Intern Emma Spero. Despite our working remotely as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, PSWH remains committed to mentoring the next generation of lawyers and providing a rewarding and meaningful experience.

Adam joins us from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he is studying for his JD and serves as Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review. He received his BS from Rowan University in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. His previous experience includes interning for the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Children and Families. Adam also worked as a legal assistant at the Law Office of Steven S. Genkin in Hackensack, New Jersey.

“I am thrilled to be working with Pashman Stein this summer,” said Adam. “Throughout the interview process I was impressed by the firm’s professionalism and dedication to their employees. Since starting as a Summer Associate, my lofty expectations have been exceeded. Everyone has been incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. I am confident that this summer will prove to be a tremendous opportunity to learn and develop as a lawyer.”

Thomas also joins us from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he is studying for his JD. He received his BA from George Washington University in Political Science, with a minor in Italian. His previous experience includes serving as a congressional intern for former U.S. Representatives Scott Rigell and Rodney Frelinghuysen.

“I was thrilled when I was selected because I knew I would be joining a great team of professionals. Obviously, things are different this year, but Pashman Stein Walder Hayden has done a terrific job of welcoming me into the firm. I am excited to see what the summer brings.”

Emma Spero is a recent graduate of Villanova University, where she received her BA in Political Science, with minors in the School of Business, Communication and Criminology. Her previous experience includes an internship in the legal department of Peapack-Gladstone Bank. Emma will be attending New England Law School in Boston, Massachusetts in the fall.

“The employees at Pashman Stein have already made me feel so welcomed,” said Emma. “Even though I wish I could be coming into the office, I am grateful for the opportunity to work remotely this summer. I am looking forward to learning a lot and meeting many more lawyers and staff in the coming weeks.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Adam, Thomas, and Emma to our team. While we are all disappointed that we cannot work together in-person, we are proud to have fully honored our commitments to our summer hires and look forward to the mentorship and growth that we invariably see from our summer program,” said Michael S. Stein, Managing Partner.
