Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. Announces Counsel Elevations for Yelena Yukhvid Levine and Dillon J. McGuire

Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is pleased to announce that Yelena Yukhvid Levine and Dillon J. McGuire have been elevated from Associate to Counsel, effective January 1, 2023.

“We are pleased to extend these well-deserved promotions to both Yelena and Dillon who have provided strategic counsel to our clients on a broad range of matters,” said the firm’s Managing Partner Michael Stein. “We are very proud of them and appreciate their contributions to Pashman Stein.”

Yelena Yukhvid Levine is a member of the Firm’s Litigation practice, focusing on all aspects of employment law, insurance law and indemnification, and complex commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Pashman Stein, Levine clerked for the Honorable Mary F. Thurber, J.S.C., of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, Civil Division. Levine graduated magna cum laude from Boston University and received her J.D., cum laude, from Rutgers School of Law – Newark. During law school, Levine served as the managing editor of the Rutgers Law Review and was a member of the Rutgers Moot Court Board. She was a finalist in the David Cohn Appellate Advocacy Competition and served as a teaching associate for the Legal Research and Writing program.

Levine’s recent accolades include being selected for inclusion in the list of Best Lawyers, Ones to Watch, Insurance 2022-2023 and New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star, 2020-2022. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.

Dillon J. McGuire is a member of the Firm’s Criminal Defense, Governmental and Internal Investigations and Cannabis & Hemp Law practices. 

McGuire earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While attending Rutgers Law School, McGuire was selected for a coveted fellowship with the Eagleton Institute of Politics and worked as a legislative aide in the non-partisan Office of Legislative Services. Following law school, McGuire served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Margaret M. Foti, P.J.Cr. – the presiding criminal judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen Vicinage. Thereafter, McGuire clerked for the Honorable Robert J. Gilson, J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division.

McGuire is a trustee, and serves as the Co-Chair of the Young Lawyers Division, of the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers-New Jersey. McGuire’s recent accolades include being named recipient of the 2022 Distinguished New Lawyer Pro Bono Award by the New Jersey State Bar Association and being included in the 2022 "Insider 100: Cannabis Power List." He was also selected for inclusion in the list of New jersey Super Lawyers, Rising Star, 2021-2022.
