Joseph C. Barsalona II, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, was featured in the Law360 article, “Pashman Stein Opens Del. Office with Ex-Morris Nichols Atty.” The article discusses his decision to join the firm and the firm’s launch of its new Delaware office.

"I am thrilled to join the exceptional team at Pashman Stein," Barcelona said in the announcement. "In addition to using the firm's platform to expand my practice into New York and New Jersey, I look forward to helping lead the firm's entry into Delaware, utilizing my knowledge of local courts and procedures to provide efficient counsel and meet the growing demand of our clients in these uncertain economic times."

"I'm just incredibly excited," Barsalona told Law360. "It's a once in a lifetime move."

Barsalona said he was also drawn to join Pashman Stein by the opportunity to work with John W. Weiss, chair of the firm’s bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights practice.

Weiss, a longtime partner at Alston & Bird LLP, joined the Hackensack, New Jersey-based firm in February to build the bankruptcy practice.

Barsalona said his decision to join Pashman Stein wasn't fueled by any dissatisfaction with his prior job.

Pashman Stein simply offered a unique opportunity, and the timing is right to ramp up the firm's bankruptcy practice, he said.
