Denise Alvarez Featured in the New Jersey Law Journal as One of the “Unsung Heroes” in 2022
After being included in the New Jersey Law Journal’s list of Unsung Heroes in 2022, Denise Alvarez, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, was featured in the New Jersey Law Journal article, “Denise Alvarez on the 'Lawyers Who You Most Certainly Want to Have With You at Trial’.” The article includes a Q&A with Alvarez.
In response to the question of types of work done at law firms and other organizations that are commonly underappreciated, Alvarez notes:
Lawyers who review documents may not be the attorneys arguing dispositive motions or first chairing at trial, but they are indispensable team members who you most certainly want to have with you at trial.
In response to the question about her experience with teamwork in the law, Alvarez replied:
As a commercial litigator, I am often confronted with unique and challenging problems that require complicated solutions….I find that it is important to work with a team of lawyers who bring differing perspectives and who each can make their own contributions. In addition, I value the resources that Pashman Stein Walder Hayden offers, as my colleagues have a wide array of experience and come from different practice groups. My philosophy, particularly with the many moving pieces of litigation, is that a team that works together to solve complicated problems can identify the best solutions for our clients.
