Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is proud to announce that Darcy Baboulis-Gyscek, counsel in the firm’s Litigation and Appellate Advocacy practices, was selected for inclusion in the 2025 list of “Unsung Heroes” by the New Jersey Law Journal as part of its New Jersey Legal Awards 2025. According to the New Jersey Law Journal, the “Unsung Hero” award celebrates attorneys who may work long hours behind the scenes but are indispensable to the efforts of the firm. The honorees will be recognized at the New Jersey Law Journal’s gala, scheduled for October 30, 2025.

“Darcy is a remarkable asset to our firm and clients,” said Sean Mack, co-chair of the firm's Litigation practice, and co-chair of the firm’s Cannabis & Hemp practice.  “As a result, she has been behind the scenes on many of the firm’s most significant matters, serving as a backbone of the team and meaningfully contributing to litigation strategy and uncovering novel (and winning) arguments.”

Darcy focuses on complex litigation and appellate matters. She has appeared on behalf of clients in New Jersey state courts, including the Superior Court, Chancery Division, and cases admitted to the Complex Business Litigation Program, and has argued several appeals before the New Jersey Supreme Court on behalf of amicus curiae.

Darcy represents clients in complex contract disputes with experience in cases seeking specific performance and other distinctive remedies. Her work spans highly regulated industries such as banking and insurance and includes cases involving multi-million-dollar real property and commercial leasing disputes. These cases often entail novel legal arguments, questions of first impression, and challenging procedural posture.
