CJ Griffin was quoted in MyCentralJersey.com’s article, “Court Sides with Home News Tribune in Lawsuit Against Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office.”

OPRA requires the production of records in redacted form, but the prosecutor opted to withhold the 911 call in its entirety. The Appellate Division correctly recognized that the prosecutor violated OPRA in doing so and that the newspapers’ lawsuits were the catalysts for getting a redacted copy of the call,” said CJ Griffin of Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, who also represented clients who sought access to the 911 cal. The prosecutor appealed her fee awards as well and those appeals are pending.
