Deanna L. Koestel Presented at Interlaw’s 2023 Annual Global Meeting in Costa Rica
On October 18, 2023, Deanna L. Koestel, Partner in the Firm’s Litigation practice group and Chair of the Construction Law practice group at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C., presented at the 2023 Annual Global Meeting of Interlaw in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Koestel and Dr. Roman Wexler-Uhlich of BRP Renaud und Partner discussed “ Multi-Jurisdictional Supply Chain Issues and Implications for Contracts.” The program was chaired by Michael Boesch of Thouvenin and Antonella Terranova of De Berti Jacchia Franchini Fortani and co-hosted by Alejandro Goicuria and Javier Chacon of BLP.
As the North American Chair of the Women of Interlaw Network, Koestel also co-chaired a panel discussion of female General Counsel hosted by the Women of Interlaw Network on Wednesday October 18. Additional co-chairs included Christine Chen of Winkler Partners and Hasti Kalarostaghi of Hunt & Hunt Lawyers, and the program was co-hosted by Vivian Liberman of BLP. The panel included Amy Boersma, Country Managing Director of Jumbo Consulting Group; Elizabeth Huh, General Counsel of Union Square Hospitality Group; Jamie Lieberman, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Mediavine; and Claire Valtwies, Australian Legal Counsel of Americold and, who shared their career paths to date, the challenges and lessons learned at key milestones and other valuable insights and advice with many Interlaw lawyers who participated, both live and virtually.
