CJ Griffin Spoke at Rutgers Law Program on NJ OPRA and Federal FOIA

CJ Griffin, Partner and Director of the Stein Public Interest Center at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, spoke on a panel titled “NJ OPRA and Federal FOIA: Transparency, Confidentiality, and the Public Trust” presented by the C. Willard Heckel Inn of Court and Rutgers Institute for Professional Education at Rutgers Law School.  The panel discussed how government records can enhance litigation strategy in civil and criminal cases, the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, the Federal Freedom of Information Act, information requests, and public policy. 

In addition to CJ Griffin, the panel included:

  • Thomas J. Cafferty – Director, commercial & criminal litigation group, Gibbons P.C.
  • Thomas H. Prol – Member, Sills Cummis & Gross P.C.
  • Sabrina G. Comizzoli - Senior Appellate Counsel, U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey
  • Kristin Vassallo – Deputy Chief, Civil Division, U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey
