On April 7, CIANJ will host a webinar regarding certain employment-related issues arising during the COVID-19 pandemic, including under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and the CARES Act. Pashman Stein Walder Hayden Attorney Jim Boyan will be presenting at the webinar.

Topics to be discussed include:

• Furlough v. Layoff and other related employment termination considerations including federal and State WARN Act issues
• Unemployment provisions in the CARES Act
• ADA Compliance in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic: What measures Employers can and cannot take to keep their workers safe without running afoul of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
