Event
8.13.24

Bruce S. Rosen, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. and member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Committee on Attorney Advertising, will be moderating and Roger Plawker, partner at Pashman Stein, will be presenting an upcoming New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education seminar titled, “Bad Review? Anti-SLAPP Law & the Ethics of Suing the Client,” together with Erin Friedlander, Public Relations and Communications Professional at Kessler PR Group.

The presentation will take attorneys through an analysis of the current anti-SLAPP law, what it means for their practice and their clients, and ways to ethically – and practically deal with negative online reviews without running afoul of the anti-SLAPP statute or ethical prohibitions.

Attorneys will learn details of the anti-SLAPP law and steps they can take to ethically preserve their firm’s reputation and recognize the potential risks in suing clients or others, including becoming a defendant in an anti-SLAPP counterclaim.

The online event will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. – 1:40 P.M. EST.
