Bruce S. Rosen to Present at Upcoming NJSBA 2025 Summer Conference Webinar, “The Latest in Anti-SLAPP Litigation – Attorney Fees and Other Updates”
Bruce S. Rosen, partner at Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. and member of the NJ Supreme Court’s Committee on Attorney Advertising will be a featured speaker at an upcoming CLE webinar titled “The Latest in Anti-SLAPP Litigation – Attorney Fees and Other Updates” as part of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2025 Summer Conference. The presentation will discuss the latest in anti-SLAPP litigation and will provide lawyers with the latest knowledge and tools on how the new law against SLAPP works. Together with Erin Friedlander, a seasoned public relations expert who specializes in crisis communications and reputation management, Rosen will discuss the Paucek decision permitting anti-SLAPP fee-shifting in federal court and Satz decision from the Appellate Division, explaining what these important cases means to your clients and will review other developments in the Uniform Public Expression Protection Act since the ruling. Friedlander will share ways to practically deal with negative online reviews without running afoul of the anti-SLAPP statute and reputational blowback.
