Pashman Stein Walder Hayden is pleased to announce that Svetlana (Lana) Ros has been named the Chair of the Health Law Section, as well as a Trustee of the Women in the Profession Section, of the New Jersey State Bar Association
Lana focuses her practice in civil and administrative litigation, with a concentration in professional licensure defense before licensing Boards, such as the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners (BME), the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry, the New York Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC), and the New York Office of Professional Discipline (OPD); hospital medical staff matters; and hospital disciplinary actions, including hospital summary suspensions and fair hearing.
Lana also represents clients in investigations, audits, and refund demands by private insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid, as well as in fraud and abuse investigations by federal agencies, including the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) and the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and by state agencies such as departments of health (DOH), banking and insurance (DOBI), and state attorneys general (AG).
Beyond her day-to-day commitments to the firm and her clients, Lana serves as a Trustee of the Somerset County Bar Association and a member of the District XA Ethics Committee of East Morris and Sussex Counties. She is a member of the Morris County Bar Association as well as the Healthcare Steering Committee of the CIANJ. She is also a member of the Business and Cannabis Law Sections of the NJSBA. Lana is a member of the Women in Business Forum of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Lawyers.
