Jim Boyan Quoted in Article on COVID-19 Waivers, Acknowledgments, and Notices for Employers

Jim Boyan, a partner in the Employment Law practice, was quoted in an article on the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) website, “When Should COVID-19 Waivers, Acknowledgments and Notices Be Used?” The article discusses tips from attorneys on waivers distributed by employers and businesses during COVID-19.

James W. Boyan III, an attorney with Pashman Stein Walder Hayden in Hackensack, N.J., said that written consent is not required for virus testing. "I don't think that it is necessary to have employees sign a consent form unless consent is required under state or local law," he said.
