Kamilla B. Rodrigues
Kamilla B. Rodrigues is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Department. She represents landlords, tenants, purchasers, sellers, lenders, borrowers and other parties-in-interest in various commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, leasing and financing of retail, office, hospitality and industrial properties for a variety of clients. Kamilla assists our clients through all aspects of their transaction, from drafting and negotiating the relevant contract documents, such as leases, purchase and sale agreements, loan documents and construction contracts, to reviewing title work and other due diligence items, and handling closings. She also has experience with Small Business Administration (SBA) loan closing and general corporate matters, such as the formation of business entities. Her practice extends to transactions in New Jersey and New York.
Kamilla earned her J.D. from Rutgers Law School – Newark and her B.S. from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. While at Rutgers School of Law, she served as a member of the Editorial Board of the Rutgers Law Review and the Executive Board of the Rutgers Moot Court Board. During her last two years of law school, Kamilla worked as a law clerk at Pashman Stein.
Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Mary F. Thurber, J.S.C. of the Superior Court of New Jersey at the Bergen County Courthouse. Kamilla is also certified by the Administrative Office of the Courts of the State of New Jersey as a Mediator and Conciliator.
