Mr. Attwood’s practice focuses on civil litigation, representing both private and public entity clients. Mr. Attwood has a broad range of insurance defense experience, including dram shop, premises liability and automotive liability matters. His experience representing public entity clients includes the defense of employment and civil rights actions, as well as public bidding disputes, at both the trial and appellate level.
Prior to joining Pashman Stein Walder Hayden, Jason was a partner at DeCotiis, Fitzpatrick & Cole, LLP. Mr. Attwood is a graduate of the State University of New York’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where he received his B.S. cum laude in 1999. He received his J.D. from Seton Hall Law School, also cum laude, in 2002, where he was an editor at the Seton Hall Constitutional Law Journal. He is the author of Article III Standing is Available to Citizen Group Seeking to Enforce Provision of the Clean Water Act Through Citizen Suit Provision, 11 Seton Hall Const. L.J. 795 (2001), an analysis of the US Supreme Court decision in Friends of the Earth v. Laidlaw Environmental Services, Inc., 120 S. Ct. 693, 528 U.S. 167 (2000).
