Five Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. Lawyers Named to the 2022 "Insider 100: Cannabis Power List," Including Three in the Top 20

Pashman Stein Walder Hayden P.C. is proud to announce that five lawyers have been named to the 2022 “Insider 100: Cannabis Power List,” three of whom were named in the top 20.  The Insider 100 Cannabis Power List is a tribute to the politically influential voices in New Jersey’s cannabis movement compiled by Jay Lassiter and published on Insider NJ.

  • CJ Griffin, director of the Justice Gary S. Stein Public Interest Center at Pashman Stein, was ranked number 12 and described as “[o]ne of the brightest lights on in New Jersey’s legal constellation:

“As a lawyer and bonafide drug law reformer, CJ Griffin remains an influential force shaping the legal landscape surrounding cannabis legalization. In addition to acting as outside pro bono counsel to NJ CAN 2020, the PAC which successfully campaigned for the legalization of recreational cannabis, under CJ’s direction the Center spearheads advocacy for the rights of marijuana user.”

  • Sean Mack and Gregg Hilzer, co-chairs of the firm’s Cannabis & Hemp Law practice, were co-ranked number 19:

  • Alana M. Hans-Cohen, an attorney in the firm’s Cannabis & Hemp law practice, was ranked number 57. Hans-Cohen focuses her practice on the intersection of cannabis law with corporate and business law, real estate, government, and public policy and is on the board of trustees of the Cannabis Advisory Group.
  • Dillon J. McGuire, an attorney in the firm’s Cannabis & Hemp law practice, Criminal Defense practice, and Governmental and Internal Investigations law practice, was ranked number 81. McGuire argued before the N.J. Supreme Court in a case securing job protections for medical marijuana users and has worked on other matters advancing the rights of marijuana users.
